Vi-Jon Files Chapter 11 to Channel Talc Claims into 524(g) Trust
Vi-Jon, LLC, a private-label dry bath products company, filed a voluntary Chapter 11 petition in the District of Delaware on August 2, 2026 (Case No. 26-11216). The prenegotiated restructuring seeks to channel 367 active talc personal injury claims (356 mesothelioma, 11 lung cancer) into a Section 524(g) trust funded by a guaranteed $25 million cash contribution from non-debtor affiliates, plus assigned insurance rights with approximately $900 million in aggregate limits. Plan confirmation targeted at 110 days.
