Manville’s Revised 2025 Trustee’s Accounting Reports $56.3M in Annual Claim Payments

Manville’s public Trustee’s Accounting library now links a revised 2025 account reporting 18,413 claim payments totaling $56.3 million. The report is a 2025 annual accounting and does not replace the tracker’s newer Q2 2026 net-equity figure or its separate cumulative liquidated-claims series.

The Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust’s public Trustee’s Accounting library now links a revised 2025 Account of Trustees for the period ending December 31, 2025.1 The account reports 18,413 personal-injury claim payments totaling $56,311,218 during 2025.2

The public library also links a revised 2024 account. That account reports 13,589 claim payments totaling $49,777,753 for 2024.1 3 The year-over-year comparison is therefore 4,824 more reported payments and $6,533,465 more reported cash payments in 2025. These are annual accounting measures, not a statement of a claimant’s individual recovery or a forecast of future payment levels.

What the revised 2025 accounting reports

Filed annual-accounting measure2025 amountScope
Personal-injury claim payments18,413Payments reported for January 1–December 31, 2025.
Claim payments made$56,311,218Cash payments shown in the 2025 cash-flow statement and Exhibit A.
Net claimants’ equity$563,345,749Year-end 2025 special-purpose accounting measure.
Cash equivalents and investments$626,384,413Year-end 2025 measure; it is not the same as net claimants’ equity.

The report describes its financial statements as consolidated special-purpose statements and says they are presented for convenience and information purposes.2 The account separately identifies claim payments, cash equivalents and investments, and net claimants’ equity. Those measures should not be substituted for one another.2

Why the tracker does not replace its newer Manville figure

AsbestosTrusts.org already uses Manville’s Q2 2026 filed statement for the current trust-record net-claimants’-equity figure of $570,516,505 as of June 30, 2026.4 That more recent quarterly figure remains the applicable tracker balance measure. The newly available 2025 accounting adds a direct public annual source for 2025 claim-payment activity, but it does not supersede the later Q2 2026 figure.

The tracker’s separate Manville cumulative field follows the Q2 filing’s cumulative Trust liquidated claims convention. That is not a pure cumulative cash-paid total. The $56.3 million reported in this annual account is a one-year cash-payment measure, so it is not added to or substituted for that cumulative liquidated-claims series.2 4

What the “revised” label establishes—and what it does not

The public library labels the 2024 and 2025 PDFs “REVISED.”1 The reviewed page and PDFs do not explain the reason for the revision or identify a changed line item. This article therefore reports document availability and the figures shown in the revised files, but does not characterize the revision as a correction, infer an earlier error, or alter the tracker’s more current Q2 2026 figure on that basis.

Confirmed: The official Manville library links revised 2024 and 2025 Trustee’s Accounts, and the 2025 account reports 18,413 claim payments totaling $56,311,218.

Not established: Why the accounts were revised, whether a particular prior figure changed, an individual claim outcome, or a newer trust balance than the filed Q2 2026 figure.
